What's new
Every version of Untitled and what it changed, newest first.

Smoother, clearer, and easier to read
Every button feels the same. Buttons press the same way everywhere, animations settle without overshooting, and things leave faster than they arrive.
Easier to read. Secondary text, the blue and the red are a touch deeper, so small words read clearly on white and on the canvas.
Works with VoiceOver and the keyboard. Every button, field, card and menu row has a name, buttons show where you are when you move with Tab, and Reduce Motion turns movement into gentle fades.
Messages that help. Errors say what to do next, and empty searches tell you what was looked for.
Fixed
Numbers that change, like counts and zoom levels, no longer shift as they update.
File names cut short keep their extension, and show in full when you point at them.
Save your edits? answers ⌘⌫ to discard, and Tab reaches its buttons.
Pictures everywhere have a fine edge, so a white picture stays visible on white.
Numbers in spreadsheets line up.
Onboarding's steps come in one part after another.

A real welcome, undo that remembers, and pages inside pages
A new start. Setup asks your name and what Untitled is for, brings your folders in, and ends on a Hello page made for you, with a few first steps to tick off as you go.
⌘Z for everything, even after you quit. Renames, moves, the Trash, a file's save, your notes and a coworker's changes can all be taken back, and they still can after you quit and come back.
Mention anything, anywhere. Type @ in the notes beside a picture or a website. Clicking an @ opens it in the sidebar, and a page embedded in another is live: tick its to-dos and write in it where it is.
Emoji for pages. Give a page an emoji or an icon, with a switcher between the two and search by name.
iCloud files stay in iCloud. Files you bring in from iCloud are shown where they are, at once, with their pictures arriving a moment later. Nothing is copied.
Fixed
Every zoom floats at the foot of what it zooms, so a zoomed-in picture is never cut off, and pictures sit on white beside their details.
Opening a page, a file or a website no longer makes the pills flicker.
⌘K previews every kind on white, files and websites have the same row as pages, and a file in a page has one bar.
Fields, buttons and close buttons look the same everywhere, and Delete is red again.
Words that change roll into place instead of zooming.
Sketch on a picture shown large in a page.
Screenshots pasted into a page stay sharp.
Files Untitled keeps its own copy of say Edited here.
Setting up again adds new files to the folders it made before.
Files dropped in are spaced by their shape, and the @ list fits short windows.

In step with Finder, and a coworker that sees your files
Finder changes show up on their own. Edit, rename or add a file in Finder and Untitled has it within a second. It only goes one way: what you change in Untitled never touches the file on your Mac. Download gives you a copy, and Use Finder's Version goes back.
The coworker sees files as they are. It reads a PDF as Claude does, with pictures of pages that words don't carry: scans, graphs, handwriting. It brings files down from iCloud first, and answers in a couple of seconds where it used to take ten.
Notes on pictures. Pictures open like websites, with their title, details and your notes beside them. ⌘K finds the notes, and Sketch still works.
One look everywhere. A page reads the same in a page, an @ embed and ⌘K's preview, now white paper. Side by side, everything starts level, with one Back button and one zoom pill.
Drag up a level. Drop cards on Back, Home or a folder in the trail to move them there, with Undo.
Fixed
Fixed a crash, and a window that opened too small, when Untitled started in a tiled window.
Opening ⌘K or the coworker no longer makes the pills flicker, and pages, websites and files open without a flash.
Menus and toasts have the pills' bright edge, and a menu keeps clear of the dock and the zoom pill.
One ⌘Z is one step, Edit ▸ Undo says what it will undo, and undoing something out of sight tells you what changed.
Linked folders follow Finder everywhere, also inside another linked folder and after coming back from the Trash, and cards redraw as soon as their file changes.
Editing a file that's deleted in Finder keeps your words and says what happened.
Ink you save on a PDF stays as smooth as you drew it, and saved marks no longer carry your name.
Renaming a file keeps its extension, and right-to-left names read as in Finder.
Esc closes a page, and a shortcut you change works at once.
Onboarding can add more folders after the first, and skips what's already here.
Everything fits the smallest window, down to its bottom edge.
Copy turns into Copied smoothly, everywhere.
A folder's ⋯ no longer makes its shadow grow, and cards don't lift under the pointer.
The / and @ menus open above the line when there's no room below.
In the Trash, Delete forever is the same height as Restore, and undoing a restore keeps its 30 days.
Untitled opens and handles big drops faster.

Pages that write the way you expect
Pages that behave like Notion. Tab nests any line, Return and Backspace do the right thing around lists, pictures and tables, every line has its own handles, and the / menu understands a few words.
Big folders, fully searchable. Add a folder of thousands of files and Untitled reads all of it, even across restarts. ⌘K says how far along it is, and By meaning finds things from a few words.
Room to write to the coworker. A long question gets the whole width and up to eight lines, and the line you're typing always stays in view.
Smoother all round. ⌘K, the coworker, pages and toasts open without a stutter, at your display's full rate, up to 120 frames a second on a ProMotion display.
Shortcuts your way. Keyboard Shortcuts now fills the window, and you can change Search, Back, New page and more: click the keys and press your own.
Fixed
Fixed a crash that could happen a few seconds after Untitled opened.
Leaving a page with a file embedded in it no longer crashes the app.
The outline beside a page reaches the last heading at the bottom, and keeps its spacing on long pages.
Pasting cells from Numbers, Excel or Google Sheets into a table fills it across and down.
⌘Z takes back typing in steps, not everything since your last click.
No more grammar dots under your notes.
Pictures and stacks no longer show their name when you hover over them.
⌘K now has the same glass as the coworker.
The glass on the pills is there at once when ⌘K or the coworker closes.
The My Space menu is shorter and in clearer groups; Set Up is now Onboarding.
Each update now says what's new before you install it, and again once it's in.
Untitled now shares anonymous usage (which features get used, never your content). Turn it off in Untitled ▸ Share Anonymous Usage.

Check for updates from the My Space menu
Check for Updates. Now in the My Space menu too. Once a new version has downloaded, it says Restart to Update.
Faster updates. Untitled looks for new versions every six hours instead of once a day.

Updates in the app, and a new welcome
Updates in the app. Untitled checks for new versions by itself, downloads them in the background and puts them in when you restart. It never restarts on its own.
Working Title. Early builds with the newest fixes, a day or two before everyone. Turn it on from Untitled ▸ Get Early Builds.
A new welcome. Setting up fills the window, and you try the coworker and search as you go. Help ▸ Welcome to Untitled brings it back.

The first Untitled for Mac
The canvas. Folders, notes, photos, PDFs and web pages side by side. Stacks fan out so you can see each piece.
Pages. Write with blocks, tables, checklists and quotes, and keep a PDF open next to what you're writing.
Search by meaning. Search for what you remember instead of the file name. It runs locally, and covers pictures too.
The coworker. Press ⌘ twice and ask it to find, sort, write or clean up. ⌘Z reverses whatever it did.
Linked folders. Add any folder from your disk. It stays exactly where it was.
